What
will it cost me to register my vehicle?

Will
my vehicle be used for Film, TV or Advertising?
- We
cannot guarantee that the TV & Film Producers, or
Advertising Agencies will select your vehicle, as this
is their choice dependant on the effect they are trying
to achieve. We will promote your vehicle along with the
other vehicles in our catalogue.

What
will the vehicle be used for?
- The
use made of your vehicle will be agreed with you in advance.
- It
may be used as a ‘Static Prop’ (for example
parked in a street scene), or may be driven by the actors
or extras.
- The
vehicle will not be deliberately damaged.

How
is my vehicle selected?
- The
catalogue will be provided to Production and Advertising
Agencies.
- Companies
interested in using your vehicle will contact our office.
- We
will check availability and fees with you.

How
much will I earn?
- We
will negotiate a fee for a particular job on your behalf;
typically this could be between £100 and £1000
per day. In order to aid the negotiation process we will
ask you for minimum fee for which you and you vehicle
would be available within a 100-mile radius of you home.

Will
I be involved with the filming?
- Yes,
you will need to drive, or deliver your vehicle to the
location of the filming.
- You
may be asked to teach the actors or other members of the
team to drive/use the vehicle.
- You
may be asked to drive the vehicle as part of the filming.

Who
will insure the vehicle whilst in use?
- You
will be responsible for insurance of the vehicle whilst
it is being transported to / from the location.
- Whilst
the vehicle is in use the production company will be responsible
any damage to the vehicle.

Will
I be paid expenses for transporting my vehicle to the location?
- The
cost of transport will be included in the fee we negotiate
(See: How much will I earn?)
- If
you will be required to stay overnight at the location,
this will be arranged through the Production Company.

Will
my vehicle need to be modified in any way?
- Normally
the Registration Plate of any vehicle will be changed
for filming
- Any
other modification required to the vehicle for filming
will only be carried out with your agreement in advance.
This includes cosmetic ‘ageing’ or ‘dirtying’
of the vehicle.

Could
my vehicle be used on a regular basis?
- Yes
it is possible; Greengrass's Truck in Heartbeat, and Morse's
Jaguar are examples of private vehicles being used on
a regular basis.

Do
I need to clean the vehicle before use?
- Yes,
we would expect that the vehicle be delivered to the location
in a clean condition. Allowance will be made for dirt
accumulated during transport to the location.

How
will my privacy be protected?
- Your
personal contact details will not be passed to any other
company or organization, including any prospective user
of your vehicle.
- Your
Registration Number will be masked on any photographs
displayed on this site.
- Our
company is registered under the Data Protection Act.
